This is a photo of the Chicago Skyline taken from the south area of the Field Museum, the Adler Museum and the Shedd Aquarium. The big black building is the Willis Tower (originally the Sears Tower) which is the tallest building in the city at 442 metres or 1451 feet. It has 110 floors and opened in 1973 – celebrating 50 years this year. According to Wikipedia, “It is the third-tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, as well as the 23rd-tallest in the world.”

As for my creative work, I love beauty in all its forms. With my art, I am often in a zen-type of mood and feel as if I am “in the flow.” With my photography, I feel as if I am inspired by God or the Universe to capture these moments in time. I feel as if I am zinged when I capture that special shot and it is meant to be.

This is a photograph I took of the view of the Chicago Skyline from the south shore. In the middle of the picture you see “the tallest building in the city and it is the 108-story Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), which rises 1,451 feet (442 m) in the Chicago Loop and was completed in 1974.”
