I drew the basic drawing by listening to a guided visualization. I saw this nude woman as being part of nature and being an essential component of this wonderful growing tree. She is in essence a Tree Goddess.
She is so much more than stillness and is about movement and dance. I like the symmetry and flow of the lines. She is about accepting your body as it is – whether big or small and whether tall or short – it is perfectly fine and divinely created. She is enveloped as part of the tree and yet she is separate in form and essence. Your body is, after all, your sanctuary for your soul.
I love the vibrancy of the colours. I love the way there is integrity and connection to the environment.

Sunny Sunflower
The sunflower looks like the face a sun would have. It is bright and cheery with red, orange and yellow hues on its petals. I thought this would be a nice summer time photo to have to brighten us up as today is a dreary, rainy autumn day and we need that golden ray of sunshine.
I feel as if it is saying “Hello World! Things will be better very soon. I promise.”

Bee My Sunflower
I absolutely love how my photograph came out. I love to capture God’s or the Universe’s glory and beauty in its natural state of being.
There is a busy, little bee doing what it does best. I like the colours of the red, orange and yellow of the sunflower. It is unique and different from the usual sunflowers I have seen. I also like how the colours are offset by the contrasting blue sky.

I really like the way the two Big Horn Sheep are pretty much camouflaged with the brown background. They are stoic even as they sit eloquently on the ground. This was taken at Bearizona Wildlife Park near Flagstaff Arizona where you drive through the Ponderosa Forest.

These are wild horses in the deserts of Arizona near Mesa. They are absolutely beautiful amongst the natural vegetation of the area. I like the way two of them are resting while one is standing tall and proud.

This is the wonderful Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA. I love the angle and closeness of this right-hand hill. There is so much texture and structure to the hill. As well, there are great crevices in the background. It is really quite scenic.
I took this photo because I like the broken down shed in the back. It may have been a barn but it is not traditional looking as the big, red old barns do. The attention of the photo starts with the fence and then takes you to the old shed. Even the wheat grabs your attention along with the fence. There are so many wonderful old buildings that are still standing and it makes you question what life was like when the farm was a family home with the vibrant pursuit of being a farmer.
