Don’t Look Directly at the Sun! So, I didn’t. I hid behind a tree and basked in the glow of the sunshine emanating and peaking out at its sides.
I love the way that the sun manages to find its way to almost everywhere in life on the Earth. It is constantly shining for our benefit and our delight. It is a source of so much good.
According to the Reference website, “The sun has been a symbol of power, growth, health, passion and the cycle of life in many cultures and religions throughout time. Some believe it is a representation of the higher self, while others see the sun as a god to be worshiped.”

Sunny Sunflower
The sunflower looks like the face a sun would have. It is bright and cheery with red, orange and yellow hues on its petals. I thought this would be a nice summer time photo to have to brighten us up as today is a dreary, rainy autumn day and we need that golden ray of sunshine.
I feel as if it is saying “Hello World! Things will be better very soon. I promise.”

Bee My Sunflower
I absolutely love how my photograph came out. I love to capture God’s or the Universe’s glory and beauty in its natural state of being.
There is a busy, little bee doing what it does best. I like the colours of the red, orange and yellow of the sunflower. It is unique and different from the usual sunflowers I have seen. I also like how the colours are offset by the contrasting blue sky.

Fall Equinox
This is a panoramic photograph I took this morning at the shoreline of Lake Winnipeg at Little Deer at 8:30 am when it was the right time for the change of seasons Central Standards Time (CST) for this area. This is approximately 2 hours north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
I love the beautiful golden hue and tone of the sun with its juxtaposition against the blue of the water and sky.
I like how your eye leads you into the water of the photo with the trees framing the image nicely. It also invites you in and makes you want to go swimming but it is getting too cold for that already.

These are beautifully sculpted and jagged mountain tops. The sun is coming from the left side and embellishing the mountains with its hue. There is some vegetation growth up the sides and although it was summer, there is snow high up towards its peaks.

This is how I envision sunlight rays coming through nonstop from the sun during the night. It continues on shining down on Earth.

On Earth, sunlight is filtered through Earth’s atmosphere, and is obvious as daylight when the Sun is above the horizon. When the direct solar radiation is not blocked by clouds, it is experienced as sunshine, a combination of bright light and radiant heat. When it is blocked by clouds or reflects off other objects, it is experienced as diffused light.”

These flowers are both looking forwards and backwards at the same time. I find it unusual that they are not all facing the same direction as they would towards the sunshine but they were indoors so I guess that is why they are growing towards different light sources.
I do not know what type of flowers they are but they are pretty. Perhaps, someone could enlighten me?
