In this photograph, the winter sunlight blazons through the sky and passes through the sunflowers as if touching and kissing them good-bye before the sun sets. I love this black and white photo because it looks like it was painted in an artistic fashion and yet it is a photograph.

Sunny Sunflower
The sunflower looks like the face a sun would have. It is bright and cheery with red, orange and yellow hues on its petals. I thought this would be a nice summer time photo to have to brighten us up as today is a dreary, rainy autumn day and we need that golden ray of sunshine.
I feel as if it is saying “Hello World! Things will be better very soon. I promise.”

Bee My Sunflower
I absolutely love how my photograph came out. I love to capture God’s or the Universe’s glory and beauty in its natural state of being.
There is a busy, little bee doing what it does best. I like the colours of the red, orange and yellow of the sunflower. It is unique and different from the usual sunflowers I have seen. I also like how the colours are offset by the contrasting blue sky.

In this photo, the winter sun is starting to set in the West. With heads bowed, the sunflowers are saying good-bye to the retreating day of sun. I love the combination of the shadows drawn out in curves on the snow and the tree branches framing the photograph. Thanks for liking, commenting, sharing and purchasing. I took this photo because I was fascinated that vibrant tall-standing sunflower plants were still up in the winter snow and sun. I love the way the snow clings to the sunflowers and the lines of shadows that the sun casts on the snow.
