Water Bliss
Is there anything more beautiful or blissful than seeing, hearing and feeling a natural waterfall? I love the sound of the water as it comes over the rocks or mountain side and feeling the soft spray of sparkly, wet water droplets. This is one of many beautiful falls in British Columbia.

Woe Is Me
This is actually a white-handed gibbon. I made the image black and white and then added a brownish hue to it. He looks a bit sullen to me and so that it is why I called it “Woe is Me!”
According to National Geographic, “White-handed gibbons are small tailless apes with soft, thick fur. They live in trees and li ke to stay high up in the canopy of trees. Their very long arms allow them to swing effortlessly among the tree branches. They can also change direction in a split second, and can catch birds in midair and eat them after landing.”

Porcupine Quills
This is a close-up of porcupine quills. I love to take close-ups especially of animals.
According to National Geographic, “Porcupines have soft hair, but on their back, sides, and tail it is usually mixed with sharp quills. … Porcupines cannot shoot them at predators as once thought, but the quills do detach easily when touched. Many animals come away from a porcupine encounter with quills protruding from their own snouts or bodies.”
