I took this photograph in the Canadian National Parks around Jasper and Banff, Alberta. This young elk is saying “I Bow to You.” Out of reverence for the Divine, he makes notice of the greater powers of this Universe. He is serene and majestic. He is enjoying nature as we all could. His eyes are closed as he seems to meditate and contemplate the bigger picture of life and gives thanks for his wonderful world.

This rose is absolutely perfect existing in this world as a beautiful flower. It is not alone as there are other roses growing with it on a bush. It has soft droplets of water on it because of the dew in the air.
It was taken at the Rose Garden of the Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I actually took this photo a decade ago. The lush green algae has covered the pond which affectionately is known as the skating pond in winter time at Assiniboine Park, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is technically called the Riley Family Duck Pond and is situated close to the Pavilion and also the Qualico Family Centre.

This is a view of our lakeshore at our cottage in Little Deer, Manitoba, Canada. We call it “Serenity” for that is what it is and we are truly thankful. It is situated on Lake Winnipeg. I love the white puffy clouds, the blue serene lake, the awesome trees and the boulders and rocks – just the whole beautiful natural scene.

I love to travel. I love looking out the window and seeing beautiful puffs of clouds like an ocean or of the Infinite. It feels as if you could just step out of the plane and softly walk or tip toe along the Breath of God. I feel this image of blues is just serene and so inviting.

In this photo, the winter sun is starting to set in the West. With heads bowed, the sunflowers are saying good-bye to the retreating day of sun. I love the combination of the shadows drawn out in curves on the snow and the tree branches framing the photograph. Thanks for liking, commenting, sharing and purchasing. Original available from Mary.
In this photograph, the winter sunlight blazons through the sky and passes through the sunflowers as if touching and kissing them good-bye before the sun sets. I love this black and white photo because it looks like it was painted in an artistic fashion and yet it is a photograph.
