Bialy i Czerwony
This photograph, that I took, is named “ Biały I Czerwony” which translated into Polish, as “White and Red.” It reminds me of the Polish flag which is two horizontal stripes with white on top of the red. It is opposite of the flag of Monaco.
I like the white rose flowers which dominate the imagery but that there is just a hint or speck of red flower popping up.

Here is a beautiful, pink rose bush that represents the symbol of Alberta. I took the photograph in Elk Island National Park near Edmonton.
According to the Indigenous Teaching and Learning Gardens website, the Indigenous used the wild rose as follows: “Used medicinally to treat bee stings, colds, blindness and diarrhea. The rose has also been used in ceremonial medicine. Rosehip rinds were eaten.”

These three beautiful pink roses represent the three of us in our immediate family. I love the dew that has formed on these flowers while late in the autumn in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I love the contrast between the old rose on the right-hand side who has lived her life and is dying now. The beauty on the right is just beginning her life. Roses are just gorgeous even if they come with prickly thorns. It is the way of life – negative and positive making up the whole – isn’t it?
