This is very impactful – affected my soul on a deep level. It is more profound in less than 5 minutes than an entire 3 hour Hollywood blockbuster.
It is called “The Life of Death” by Marsha Onderstijn.
It was so heart-breaking but beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. Thanks to Marsha Onderstijn for being inspired to create it and Ramon de Wilde for the music.
Life is Precious!

Beginning and End
I took this photograph of this beautiful flower both at its bud stage up top and in full bloom below. It is like living on this Earth, end of life is happening for some while birth and new life is happening for some. Others in various stages of the in-between life. I like the contrast in stages. There is spiritual meaning in this photograph.

Totem Poles
While visiting Stanley Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, I took this photos of the totem poles.
According to the park’s website: “Totem poles are unique to the north west coast of BC and lower Alaska. They were carved from western red cedar and each carving tells of a real or mythical event. They were not idols nor were the worshipped. Each carving on each pole has a meaning.”

Young And Old
I love the contrast between the old rose on the right-hand side who has lived her life and is dying now. The beauty on the right is just beginning her life. Roses are just gorgeous even if they come with prickly thorns. It is the way of life – negative and positive making up the whole – isn’t it?

Morphology
This is an Abstract Acrylic painting of mine that represents “Morphing.” If I look at it from a Buddhist point of view, it represents the idea of suffering with The Four Noble Truths and how it may be dealt with, in terms of the Eightfold Noble Paths. If I look at it from a point of view of Hinduism it reminds me of Maya and how it may represent destruction as a necessary component of creation and an ever continuing change or re-creation. From a Christian point of view, it reminds me of the Seven Deadly Sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. From a Nature and Earth perspective, it reminds me of the forces of nature everything from a raging forest fire, to a tornado, to a hurricane, to a tsunami, to flood waters to a blizzard forming in a winter’s storm and all powerful forces in between. From an Imaginary or Fantasy point of view, it can be visualized as a Sea Monster streaming through mighty white waters or an evil Dragon flying through the aethers. I hope you enjoy the painting and find positive meaning in it. To me, the filaments of green represent the beginnings of “forgiveness” and potential change in all respects and meanings.
