I took this photograph in the early evening as the setting sun was resting in the West. The leaves are long gone from the deciduous trees and the confers are elegant as ever in winter time.
The trees are living organisms that help take carbon dioxide from the air and convert it into life-giving oxygen and breath for planet Earth. Thanks to God and the Universe for creating such a perfect and harmonious system of give and take.
Aside from the orange and gold colours in the sky, I also see peach and pink hues.

Fall Equinox
This is a panoramic photograph I took this morning at the shoreline of Lake Winnipeg at Little Deer at 8:30 am when it was the right time for the change of seasons Central Standards Time (CST) for this area. This is approximately 2 hours north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
I love the beautiful golden hue and tone of the sun with its juxtaposition against the blue of the water and sky.
I like how your eye leads you into the water of the photo with the trees framing the image nicely. It also invites you in and makes you want to go swimming but it is getting too cold for that already.

I was trying to get an effect with the camera. I have much better shots of the moon that you can check out at my portfolio on Fine Art America. What I like about this photo is the mysterious nature of the full moon amidst the blue hues of the night sky and the trees.

This is a view of our lakeshore at our cottage in Little Deer, Manitoba, Canada. We call it “Serenity” for that is what it is and we are truly thankful. It is situated on Lake Winnipeg. I love the white puffy clouds, the blue serene lake, the awesome trees and the boulders and rocks – just the whole beautiful natural scene.

This is a beautiful dragonfly on a birch tree. I love dragonflies because they are beautiful as they hover and fly around and they eat mosquitoes too.
According to Wikipedia, “Fossils of very large dragonfly ancestors in the Protodonata are found from 325 million years ago (Mya) in Upper Carboniferous rocks; these had wingspans up to about 750 mm (30 in). There are about 3,000 extant species. Most are tropical, with fewer species in temperate regions. Loss of wetland habitat threatens dragonfly populations around the world.”

This is a photograph of a lonely boat who has been forgotten in time. It is surrounded by nature as the flowers pop up all around. I think it is interesting and beautiful how nature always comes back. It was taken at Little Deer in Manitoba, Canada.
