Profound Little Animated Video

This is very impactful – affected my soul on a deep level. It is more profound in less than 5 minutes than an entire 3 hour Hollywood blockbuster.

It is called “The Life of Death” by Marsha Onderstijn.

It was so heart-breaking but beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. Thanks to Marsha Onderstijn for being inspired to create it and Ramon de Wilde for the music.

Life is Precious!

He Statue

He Statue

I did definitely take this photograph but I can not take credit for the original craftsmanship or integral beauty and perfection of this marble statue. I found it in the Musée d’Orsay which is found in Paris, France.

It is exquisite in its detail but I wanted to add some effects to it and so I did. It is so well put together that it looks as if a real male in the nude is sitting there. It is called “Despair” or “Le Désespoir” and was created in 1869 by Jean-Joseph Perraud. Someone could look at this and think this is a picture for the year of 2020 but I do not see “Despair,” but see a man reposing and reflecting upon life that this year has offered us and now hoping for a better future that 2021 and onwards will bring forward for humankind.

According to Wikipedia, “The Musée d’Orsay is a museum in Paris, France, on the Left Bank of the Seine. It is housed in the former Gare d’Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. The museum holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography.”

Bins Galore

Bins Galore

I like the bins that line the prairie landscape. It is reminiscent of the storing and packaging up of important goods that have taken time and space to harvest or reap. It has taken a lot of effort on the farmers’ part to seed and help grow the crops. I am thankful to the farmers for all their hard work because without them, life would be so much harder.

I took this picture near Île-des-Chênes, Manitoba which is south of the City of Winnipeg. The town is an unincorporated community in the Rural Municipality of Richot. According to its website, “This francophone town was settled in the mid-nineteenth century in an area prolific with oak trees, and that’s where the town got its name, which translates to Oak Island.”

Two Times Three

Two Times Three

It may seem to be a simple math problem but I am simply observing that there are two sets of three bins. They are symmetrical and cylindrical and keep the crops in a safe way. There are the three that are on the left-hand side, smaller than the ones on the right-hand side that are much taller and look as if they will go up in the air like rockets.

Don’t Look

Don’t Look

Don’t Look Directly at the Sun! So, I didn’t. I hid behind a tree and basked in the glow of the sunshine emanating and peaking out at its sides.

I love the way that the sun manages to find its way to almost everywhere in life on the Earth. It is constantly shining for our benefit and our delight. It is a source of so much good.

According to the Reference website, “The sun has been a symbol of power, growth, health, passion and the cycle of life in many cultures and religions throughout time. Some believe it is a representation of the higher self, while others see the sun as a god to be worshiped.”

Still Growing

Still Growing

This is a close-up photograph I took of a root growing by the water’s edge. The amazing thing about it is that it is either surrounded by rocks or water and somehow it has reached into the ground and continues to grow. It is determined and ambitious. It chooses to live. I like growth and determination.

Sand Ridges

Sand Ridges

Right at the edge of the water is evidence of the sand building up over time with ridges. You can see the layers building up. In the foreground, is the rippling water and then the sand is in beautiful folds and layers. The lake is teaming with life as it moves and sways to the current flows and the winds. I love the textures and contrast of the photograph. I also see a heart and some other beautiful shapes in the sand.

This photograph was taken at Matheson Island, north of Gimli, Manitoba.

Biophotons

Biophotons

Can you see the original photograph? It is a picture I captured of flowers, plants and leaves. They are beautiful and incredibly gorgeously – alive in nature. I have created an effect so that if it is the life force oozing from the edges of the plants and flowers.

Everything emanates with a light that is inherent in all beings and living things. In 1923, Alexander Gurwitsch, a Russian scientist, discovered what would be researched further by his daughter, Anna, and would come to be known as biophotons.

The biophotons are created by all living organisms. According to the NewburyPortNews.com website, “The interesting thing about light is that in addition to behaving like a wave of energy, it can also behave like a physical particle, a kind of chunk of light, a quantum. It’s this basic unit of light that we call a photon.

Biophotons are photons, bits of light, that are generated spontaneously by most living cells. Research suggests that biophotons are created in the DNA that resides in the mitochondria in your cells. They are created in the 98% of each DNA molecule that is not used for genetic coding of behavior. The genome project referred to this as junk-DNA because they had no idea about its use.”

Cute Dolphin

Cute Dolphin

I was thinking of how much I like to travel to new places around the world. It doesn’t look like we will be able to do so this year due to the corona virus pandemic.

This is a photograph I took of a cute Bottlenose dolphin in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is adorable. She looks like she is smiling and enjoying life.

According to Wikipedia, “Bottlenose dolphins, the genus Tursiops, are the most common members of the family Delphinidae, the family of oceanic dolphin. Molecular studies show the genus contains three species: the common bottlenose dolphin, the Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin, and the Burrunan dolphin.”

Winter’s Coming

I know we have some time left but based on the colder temperatures and more precipitation we have had lately, we will be in winter sometime soon. The crops have already been harvested and only stubble remains in the fields.

The hay bales have been processed and soon there will be a layer of snow on it. There is fun in the winter time to be had though too. It is something you learn to encompass in your life and live with the best you can. Time to prepare.
