Interesting Internet Fact about Anthuriums – “The Colorful Heart-Shape is Not A Flower. Though it looks like a waxy bloom, it is actually a spathe, or shield-like leaf. Its function is to protect the spadix, which contains several tiny flowers when in bloom. The spathe can come in many colors, such as pink, orange and white.” These ones are red.

Happenstance

I was just walking along in a park when I looked down and saw the beautiful arrangement of an oak leaf and acorns on the pathway. It was as if someone had intentionally put it there to be just in perfect balance and harmony. It is nature against a man-made backdrop. “From the beginning seed of a small acorn, will grow a magnificent oak tree which started out with humble beginnings with dreams and aspirations of greatness.” Quote by Mary Mikawoz.
