I love Indian Ink and traditional nib pens. I love the flow of ink. I developed this psychedelic look because it was fun to do and I was in the mood to create. I put in various other colours to get a cool look and feel. As I did the last part in the computer, I can digitally put any colours you wish if you like the design. I hope you like it. This reminds of the fashions worn in the 1960s and 1970s during the Flower Power Hippie Movement of Peace and Love. We do need more kindness and compassion in the world. I believe the feeling of this piece is subtle, soft and demure.
With my art, I am often in a zen-type of mood and with my photography, I feel as if I am inspired by God or the Universe to capture these moments in time.

I drew this drawing with various coloured pens and inks. I was feeling quite happy and joyous. When I added the colour to it, I was likewise feeling content and blessed so that is the reason for the flower and the beautiful colours.

This is my interpretation of when your chakra system is blocked – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. There is hope as I see the healing sun beaming from the upper left healing down a rainbow of energy and light to cleanse the energy centres of negativity and energy blockages. This is originally an abstract artwork with acrylic paints.
According to chakras.info website the following is very interesting:
“Each of the chakras in the body is paired with an endocrine gland and governs its function.
Root chakra (1st) — Reproductive glands (testes in men; ovaries in women); controls sexual development and secretes sex hormones.
Sacral chakra (2nd) — Adrenal glands; regulates the immune system and metabolism.
Solar Plexus chakra (3rd) — Pancreas; regulates metabolism.
Heart chakra (4th) — Thymus gland; regulates the immune system.
Throat chakra (5th) — Thyroid gland; regulates body temperature and metabolism.
Third Eye chakra (6th) — Pituitary gland; produces hormones and governs the function of the previous five glands; sometimes, the pineal gland is linked to the third eye chakra as well as to the crown chakra.
Crown chakra (7th) — Pineal gland; regulates biological cycles, including sleep.”

I took the photograph of the water lilies in Freeport, Bahamas. I then decided to give it some colour and give it some darker features using filters and effects. The result is like a painting which I hope you like as much as I do.

I really like the photograph and added a stained glass effect to it. It is not an ordinary flower but a special one found at Hotel Beatus in Cambrai, France where I found it outside the rooms in the adjoining patios. Philippe Gorczynski found and made a museum around a World War I British tank, Deborah, the Iron Lady, near Flesquieres.

I took this photograph in the fields around the Interlake area of Manitoba. I really enjoy the pattern of the bales of hay on the prairies with its golden tone. I took this image and put a variety of filters on it to make it look more like a painting effect with fibers.

This is a drawing and digital artwork of a Heart Beat. It is becoming 3D with the effects of a pulse and blood coursing through the arteries of this abstract heart. It is living and enjoying life as it automatically beats throughout the day of our lives. There is vibrancy and soul within its orbit like a heart beat is to a musical set of notes.

I have created an image from a pen drawing and added a rainbow of colours. It is reminiscent of a snake shedding its skin. It is like what we do when we give up old bad habits and replace them with better ones and thought processes.

This started off as an abstract drawing with coloured gel pens. I saw the strokes as lightning in the sky. I have added special effects to make the artwork more interesting. I like the forcefulness of the lightning in the sky during a storm and thunder.

This is my abstract interpretation of trois oeufs or three eggs. Originally, the picture was drawn with pen and then added to with India Ink. I then added colour to it. Symbolically, eggs represent many things to many cultures including birth and fertility. I like the potential that eggs represent and the ability to grow into something bigger and better.
