Off in the distance, you can see sailboats as the sun sets in the sky. I took this photograph while on a boat in the Pacific Ocean off of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Tree And Me

This is a blue-grey bird balancing on a log in the water. This photograph was taken in the Honolulu Zoo in Hawaii, USA. I love the matching blues and greys in the bird and the water.

I can’t say much about this bird because I have not been able to identify it. Sorry, if anyone knows, please add a comment and I will update this post.

Old Timers

Old Timers

There are actually two tortoises. There is another one behind the front one. This picture was taken at the Honolulu Zoo in Hawaii.

According to the SoftSchools.com, “Turtles and tortoises are closely related. They are both reptiles from the same family (Testudines or Chelonian). The main difference between the two is that turtle is the name given to water-dwellers and tortoise is the name given to land-dwellers.”

Further they say, “Their life span is longer than that of the turtle with an average of 80-150 years and a maximum of 188 years.”

Balcony Love

Here is a silhouette of a couple in love enjoying the sunset in Waikiki part of Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. They are on their balcony seeing the last remnants of the night sky turn a beautiful orange and yellow hue into the night sky as the sun disappears behind the horizon.
