Bee Flower

I look this image of the bee in the flowers in Freeport, Bahamas. What I like about this photograph that I took is the fact that the flower is in various stages of development just like people from baby to youngling to adult. I find the spiky nature particularly appearing which I guess would be like the teenage years.

Water Lilies in Colour

I took the photograph of the water lilies in Freeport, Bahamas. I then decided to give it some colour and give it some darker features using filters and effects. The result is like a painting which I hope you like as much as I do.

Turtle and Fishes

This is a photograph of a turtle swimming amongst fishes. What is interesting to me is that although it is in water the top of its shell is completely dry! What a great swimmer that it can be in water and bask in the sunlight and still not get wet!

I took the photograph in Freeport, Bahamas.

According to Wikipedia, “Turtles are reptiles of the order Testudines characterized by a special bony or cartilaginous shell developed from their ribs and acting as a shield.”

Streaming Light

I took this image on the South Shore Beaches of Freeport, Bahamas. The sun was streaming in through the clouds and was absolutely beautiful. It is as if God is shining down on the Earth.

Aqua Rope

I have turned this image into a black and white photograph and then added an aqua tinge to the rope. It is actually in fact that colour but I wanted to amplify the effect more.

It is found at Banana Bay Restaurant in Freeport, Bahamas in the Caribbean.

Red Pathway

I have taken an image that I took at the Banana Bay Restaurant in Freeport, Bahamas. I have actually decided to play around with filters and such. i have made the pathway and the ropes red while texturizing the background.

Blue Hue Pathway

This is a pathway in Freeport, Bahamas. It was just perfect the way it was painted blue and also the ropes along its path were also blue. It was just so creative and wonderful.

It is similar to the marketplace in Freeport where there are buildings in beautiful colours everywhere.

Wrinkles in Time

The water in the Bahama Islands has created these “Wrinkles in Time.” I took a number of photographs of these sand ridges. It is as if they are individual finger prints in the memory of time and sand. It was hard to find places were people had not stood and ruined the individual prints. I like the texture and flow. It is like musical rhythm.

Sparkling Water and Goose

I could not believe how gorgeous the water turned out around this goose.  The white goose is encircled with huge diamond–shaped sparkling lights.  I love the way the water seems to fold itself over delicately moving as the goose glides along the water.  I also love the multi-pointed sparks of light.  This photo was taken in Freeport, Bahamas in The Garden of the Groves on the Grand Bahamas Island.
