There is something elegant and beautiful about flowers no matter what stage of life they are at. These flowers were newly picked and together the triad forms a beautiful composition.
I love the contrast of the pink and red hues of the flowers agains the brown contrast of the table underneath. In my mind, they are just perfectly integrated.
With my art, I am often in a zen-type of mood and with my photography, I feel as if I am inspired by God or the Universe to capture these moments in time.

I absolutely love the contrast in this autumn scene. The red of the fruit of the tree contrasts nicely with the white of the plants around and in front of it that are nicely frosted in the cold. I like the effect of the light in the picture along with the various textures. I love the mood and effect of the photograph gives off.
Snow is actually softly falling in the air as I took this photograph. This was taken at the English Gardens at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Bee My Sunflower
I absolutely love how my photograph came out. I love to capture God’s or the Universe’s glory and beauty in its natural state of being.
There is a busy, little bee doing what it does best. I like the colours of the red, orange and yellow of the sunflower. It is unique and different from the usual sunflowers I have seen. I also like how the colours are offset by the contrasting blue sky.

This is a still life photograph of a box of Mandarin Oranges. I thought it would be interesting to unravel one orange and photograph the box against a hard wood floor. I like the contrast between what is covered and what is not. It is kind of like life and what we offer to people, that which we let them see on the exterior and what is really on the interior. It is the secret chapter of our life book that we do not let others read. I also added filters which highlighted the orange hues of the fruit and also the floor.

I was looking at these flowers I took and thought they look as if they create a heart-shape formation. I took out the background and it became more visible. It is as if they were made as a center piece for an wedding arrangement bouquet.

Here is a wonderful parrot who has just cracked open a nut. According to the Internet, “Hailing from South America, the beautiful blue-and-gold Macaw presents a bold mix of bright blue and yellow feathers…Moreover, it’s green forehead offers beautiful contrast to its blue and yellow body.” They are intelligent.

I love the contrast between the old rose on the right-hand side who has lived her life and is dying now. The beauty on the right is just beginning her life. Roses are just gorgeous even if they come with prickly thorns. It is the way of life – negative and positive making up the whole – isn’t it?

I love the contrast of the water in this photo. The snow and ice are white, serene and still. Underneath, you find flowing and open water but it is placid and calm. It looks blue but it clear water. Just below, you see the water not only trickle but really come alive as it falls over rocks. From passive to active, this water flows and changes down the river path.
Due to the many rapids along this river’s path, it is apparently very popular with canoe enthusiasts. Aside from the Seven Sisters, there are also the towns of River Hills, Elma, Whitemouth, and Hadashville located along the river in Manitoba, Canada.
