Boat On Bahama Beach

This was the sandy beach with a boat on Freeport, Bahamas in the Caribbean Islands on the Atlantic Ocean.

I like the silhouette of the boat.

Attention Educators, Teachers and Parents!

Northern Lake Adventures – The Encounter

This video is about the book called “Northern Lake Adventures – The Encounter” – Introduction by Mary Mikawoz.

This is a fiction fantasy book for young readers aged 9 to 14 or for those readers who are young at heart. Follow the adventures as a set of triplets meet the fairies. The book is written from the point of view of Terry, the middle triplet and from the point of view of Jasmine, the fairy grandmother who is a member of the elder council. There are interesting and unique points of view to see how the same events are seen differently depending upon perspective. Come along for the adventure.

Some of the topics covered in this book are humanity versus nature, family dynamics, sibling rivalry, school, friendships, adventure, time and space travel, portals and learning.

Red Pathway

I have taken an image that I took at the Banana Bay Restaurant in Freeport, Bahamas. I have actually decided to play around with filters and such. i have made the pathway and the ropes red while texturizing the background.

Blue Hue Pathway

Blue Hue Pathway

This is a pathway in Freeport, Bahamas. It was just perfect the way it was painted blue and also the ropes along its path were also blue. It was just so creative and wonderful.

It is similar to the marketplace in Freeport where there are buildings in beautiful colours everywhere.

Solemn

Mikawoz Solemn

Solemn

This drawing started off as drawing of coloured pencils, blue pen and markers. I then took the basic shape or frame of it and enhanced it digitally. I found it to be a good experience because the essential flow of it stayed intact which I like very much.

I was feeling solemn when I drew this picture but where there is darkness, a ray of light peaks in and brings hope.

The world is a mosaic. It is a combination of all sorts of people but we are all one. We come in various shapes, colours and combinations but essentially we are souls having a human experience.

River Path

This is an aerial photograph of one of my trips back home. It highlights a river path snaking its was through the country side. Only a few wisps of clouds remain. This was in the winter time but we were far enough south that there wasn’t any snow on the ground.

Licking

Mikawoz Licking

Licking

As all cats do, this tiger is licking and cleaning himself. They have a built in system for it. Cats clean and lubricate themselves in this manner.

I love the pink tongue and reminds me of my cat as he cleans himself. It is something beautiful to watch and soothing too. They seem to get much enjoyment out of it. Cleaning themselves is a way of also calming themselves down.

These oak trees are the most perfect element in the beautiful autumn sky behind them. This photograph was taken at Assiniboine Park near the previous Conservatory in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The seasons continue to change and with it comes renewed hope as we enter Spring.
