This is originally an abstract pen drawing which flowed and came out of me easily which I the manipulated digitally. It represents an eye. From left to right, it is the side view of an eye with the cornea, iris and lens. It has the sclera too.
I remember doing a project as a youngster on anatomical parts of the eye. I remember distinctly drawing out the features of the eye with its component parts. I have put light coming through the front of the eye and back through to be processed by the brain in a multitude of colours. There is wisdom and knowledge there with a bright understanding of the processed information, just like we all do.
The eye represents vision but it is also representing the sixth sense of being able to see beyond what we see physically.
According to Oprah’s website, “Clairvoyance means clear seeing. This is when visions past, present and future flash through our mind’s eye, or third eye, much like a daydream. Many of us are highly visual and able to understand an idea best when we see it written or sketched out as an image on a computer screen or on a canvas. Visual people often choose to be artists, builders, photographers, decorators, designers and so forth. If this sounds familiar, your clairvoyance is most likely a dominant sense.”

Eyelets
I drew this drawing while I was feeling in a good mood and was feeling in the flow of life. There is movement and design in the drawing. I felt as if I were drawing material with eyelets in it. I have intentionally put in all the colours of the rainbow and then some.
I have made the background to be rich in colour and by virtue of the design, having a texture. It is the kind of design that makes you want to look more into what it is all about and I find myself looking at various features and at the vibrancy of the image. I hope you enjoy it too!

Cheery One – Drawing and Digital Art by Mary Mikawoz
Cheery One
I drew this drawing with various coloured pens and inks. I was feeling quite happy and joyous. When I added the colour to it, I was likewise feeling content and blessed so that is the reason for the flower and the beautiful colours.

This is an ink drawing I have created that is dedicated to first responders and front-line workers. It is also a reminder to all of us to wear “The Mask” to keep us safe for now as we deal with this pandemic.
According to Wikipedia, “A pandemic is an epidemic of an infectious disease that has spread across a large region, for instance multiple continents or worldwide, affecting a substantial number of people.”
We will get through this! We will have success and overcome this situation. To all the people of the nations of the world, we need to believe in ourselves as a species who survives and flourishes.

This is an abstract drawing made from coloured gel pens and then digitally painted in the computer. It is bright with brilliant colours of pinks, yellows, green, blue and golds. I like the textured effect. Although water is usually a hue of blue, it is more worthy than gold.
An interesting fact about Corals are that they are really animals and not plants. They cover less than 1 percent of the ocean floor but account for 25% of the known marine life.

This is an abstract drawing I did up in ink. It represents my birthday today. I see a heart in it which represents love. I see lungs which represents the breath of life or chi or prana and energy. I have candles or lights to represent happiness, joy and celebration of life. There is flow and design to the art piece. I usually create to the sound of music playing while I free flow my creative work to the inspirational music.

This is an abstract art piece with a drawing from gel pens. I scanned it into the computer and gave some interesting effects such that it looks like you are flying into a vortex or portal through time and space.

This is how I envision sunlight rays coming through nonstop from the sun during the night. It continues on shining down on Earth.
This is an abstract artwork made with pen and paper and photo effects.
According to Wikipedia, “Sunlight is a portion of the electromagnetic radiation given off by the Sun, in particular infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light. On Earth, sunlight is filtered through Earth’s atmosphere, and is obvious as daylight when the Sun is above the horizon. When the direct solar radiation is not blocked by clouds, it is experienced as sunshine, a combination of bright light and radiant heat. When it is blocked by clouds or reflects off other objects, it is experienced as diffused light.”

I felt as if this blue and green drawing is simply about bubbles. Whether it is a child blowing bubbles in the air or carbonated bubbles in a soft drink, it is a fun thing to do.
This abstract drawing is simple but is representational of the flow of bubbles.

I created this image as I was thinking of the fires raging in Australia. My heart went out to them as people, domestic animals, wildlife and nature was burnt to a crisp. I hoped and prayed for rain to ease their fight and plight.
According to the Smithsonian Online Magazine, “Australia’s massive bushfires, which were contained in mid-February and declared over in early March, left eucalypt forests scorched and the ground, too dry to absorb the following rainfall. But now, the burnt trees are beginning to show signs of recovery as small, leafy branches sprout from their sides.”
