Rainbow Over Falls

The sun reflecting off of the sparkling water has created a beautiful rainbow amidst the Sunwapta Falls.

According to Wikipedia, “Sunwapta Falls is a pair of waterfalls of the Sunwapta River located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. The falls are accessible via a 600 metres access road off the Icefields Parkway, which connects Jasper and Banff National Parks. The falls have a drop of about 18.5 metres.”

This is an autumn picture of the Pavilion and Duck Pond at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The Canada Geese are on their migratory route south at this time of year. “Canada geese fly in a distinctive V-shaped flight formation, with an altitude of 1 km (3,000 feet) for migration flight. The maximum flight ceiling of Canada geese is unknown, but they have been reported at 9 km (29,000 feet).”(Wikipedia)
