Déjà vu?

Past LifeBook: “The Past Life Perspective: Discovering Your True Nature Across Multiple Platforms” by Ann Barham

Book Review by Mary Mikawoz

Have you ever met someone and been automatically in sync with them, be they male or female? Conversely, have you ever met someone and instantly disliked them? Do you have an affinity for doing things despite not being really trained in it? Are you really connected to a certain part of the world, certain cultures, foods or foreign languages? If you have said “Yes” to any of these questions, you may have a clue to as your past life.

One of the best things you can do is start paying attention to your dreams looking for recurring patterns, be they specific people , scenes or circumstances. If you can afford it, travelling to different parts of the world can trigger past life memories. If you are able to be familiar with certain territories without a guidebook, you may be “home.” If you have a deep profound connection to a place, you may be reconnecting to a past life. You may use the services of a past-life regression therapist who will put you into a light meditative state. Usually a person who is used to meditation is able to hit a trance quicker and be able to reflect upon a past life regression quicker but not always.

There are difficulties in doing a past life regression such as hitting traumatic events, which need to be processed, developing closure and learning the lessons from them. For this reason, it is better to use the services of a certified regression therapist instead of doing it yourself. Mind you, some people are excellent dreamers and so can remember and reflect over a past-life regression during dreams or sleep time. If a person is not able to regress it is because they have a hard time relaxing in normal life or they are not to get a message at this time. Their issues may simply be from this current lifetime and so conventional therapy is the answer with counselling.

I found the past-life regression stories very interesting. They ranged in dates, times and spaces. I felt like I was reading short-story historical fiction and yet it was somebody’s regression. In some ways, it does matter whether past-life regression is a fact or not because if the therapy works in solving problems in your life, it was worth it. People have gotten over fears, resolved feelings with loved ones and found renewed purposes with their life.

I found this book extremely entertaining and interesting. I recommend it for New Age spiritually-minded people. This paperback book edition will be available through Atria Publishing in June 2016. I give it a 5 out of 5 rating.
